One of them most requested tutorials is how to animate a walk cycle. I recorded a 2 parts video showing exactly how I approach animating a walk cycle from start to finish.

The first part covers blocking the main poses, and in the second part I go into detailed animation to finish the cycle.

This walk cycle tutorial is not edited and therefore quite long, but I think keeping all the grunt work involved will help you understand the animation process better.
