From Maya to Blender

The first one is a tutorial from David Andrade (of Theory Animation), where he goes over the differences between Maya and Blender, so if you’re thinking about making a switch – definitely watch this video first.

Using Blender in an Animation Studio

In this video I talk with David about how he started his studio using Blender as the primary program. David is a 3D artist who’s been working in the VFX industry for a long time (including Rhythm & Hues before they crashed).

He then pursued to create Theory Animation which produces an animated web series and develop tools and plug-ins for Blender users.
